Omnix provided a complete vision system to a Tear Tape manufacturer servicing the packaging industry. The system looks at text or graphical patterns at a rate of 30 frames a second. Each frame is analyzed to ensure the slitting machine is cutting the tape within 0.005 mm. This helped our customer drastically improve their product. An improved product led to increased sales. This system has been running for over two years with no reported problems.
